Through his word God calls us to be still and know that he is God. We do this by following the example of Jesus by finding a solitary place to meet face to face with God our Father. However life can become busy, noisy and full with day to day activities. This is why The House of Bread is a place where we can shut out the world and encounter our loving heavenly Father. I've visited The House of Bread on many occasions for teaching and training days, soaking prayer and for personal retreats. The personal retreats are my favourite because I always hear from God and I leave feeling refilled, refreshed and restored.

I have visited The House of Bread many times and enjoyed some very special moments, both alone with the Lord in the peace-filled rooms and with members of the team there. The openness to God, the welcome and love have all blessed me tremendously. I have always come away refreshed.

I always love and look forward to coming to The House of Bread, particularly for the soaking prayer sessions, which are so Spirit-filled and led in a peaceful spiritual manner by Will and Ann.
